sick boy and teething

Ohhhh last week, how I DON'T miss you. Jack-Jack ended up with RSV (learn more about it here) as of Tuesday. He wasn't doing well Monday- and when I went to give him his bottle that night and half of it ended up coming back up and all over me, I knew we were in for a long week. Fever, coughing, choking on phlegm, runny nose- he was a hot mess. He would only sleep in 30 to 45 minute intervals too. Special thanks to my mom and aunt lisa for helping me with him so that I didn't miss TOO much work. He's on the mend- now I just have to train him to sleep better- AGAIN.


To top it all off- he was also teething. Most kids his age get their bottom two teeth in first. Not my boys. Jack followed in his brothers' footsteps and just cut his top two teeth this weekend. There are at least 2 more I see waiting in the wings... Poor Guy!

He's getting better- and now his new thing to do is to wrinkle his nose and purse his lips and make a funny snorting sound. I finally caught a few pics of him doing it!

after you've done that- see where it says "Comment as:"?? Click that drop-down menu and click on "Name/URL". 

Type in your name and ignore the URL slot. hit Continue.

Then click Publish.

Then you get to see a PREVIEW box of what you wrote. Scroll down in that little box and type in the captia (those words written all wiggly in that box) to "prove that you're not a robot". It is CASE SENSITIVE and you will need a space between each word. Then hit Publish!

AND YOU'RE DONE!! There is your super sweet comment! GOOD JOB!

Jack- almost 7 months

Jack you will be 7 months old on Saturday. You are so smart and such a sweet boy. You're getting better about sleeping, you're trying new foods every day and you sit up on your own so well. Nothing makes you laugh harder than watching your big brother be goofy for you. You love him so much and it melts my heart seeing the two of you together. Below are some photos I took of you at Auntie Mar's. We really captured your sweet spirit! Love you so much Jack-Jack!

6 months & 4 years

Both boys had check-ups yesterday. here's the stats for them:

JACK- 27 1/2 inches long --- 18 lbs, 4 oz.
(compared to luke at this age- he's close in weight- but is as tall as luke was at 4 months!)

LUKE- 43 1/2 inches tall --- 41 lbs (he grew over 3 and 1/2 inches since last year)
