the weekend

This past weekend was Luke's first jog-a-thon and carnival for his PreSchool. It was at my work, so needless to say I was quite busy with it all. The only photo I managed to get was this one of all the kids ready to go. I love the looks on their faces. It's like "what are we doing again?!".

I also got this adorable little video of Jack showing off the parts of his face that he knows. He actually knows more- i just couldn't get him to "perform". Love that kid...

And as the Indian Summer dwindles down, it's pics like this I'm going to miss. Luke has always loved sticking his foot out the window. I bet by next year it will be hanging out there...

PreK Orientation

We had Luke's PreK Orientation on Tuesday! We got to go into the preschool and hang out with Teacher Kellie, see where his stuff would go and play a bit. We had a lot of fun seeing our old friends from last year and meeting a few of the new kids. Luke is super excited to get back to school {and so is mommy!!}.

Luke is also lucky to get to go to school with cousin Grace! I got this sweet picture of Grace painting. Isn't she SO GOOD?? Love that kid!

SIX WEEKS!

Jack is 6 weeks old and growing like a weed. Mom and I actually packed up a box of "too small" clothes today. I have a feeling it'll be another week or so and we'll be packing up more. He still nurses almost every two hours (yes- even at night!!). Tonight will be his first night in his crib (at least that's the plan). So fingers crossed he does well in there. Oooo and he's starting to SMILE more and more. I got the best picture of him last night- see? This makes all the sleepless nights worth it!

It was also Luke's first day of school! He was a little nervous- but was lucky to have Auntie Maris in his classroom today as a teacher helper AND Grace to play with!
